Obese patients face higher risk of multiple diseases

Monday, June 24th, 2013

Patients, who are obese, face a higher risk of multiple other diseases, according to researchers.

Jessica Bartfield, MD, bariatrician at the Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care, said that now it is known that excess adipose (fat) tissue is active rather than inert.

She said that it alters hormones, releases cytokines and inflammatory factors, all of which cause metabolic derangements.

She asserted that for the obese patient, even if the excess weigh is not causing any current medical problems, that patient faces a higher risk of multiple other disease.

“Although lifestyle and behaviors highly influence a person’s weight, research continues to find multiple other factors including genetics, environment, hormonal balances and sleep patterns which underscore the complexity of this disease,” Bartfield said.

Green coffee bean helps loose weight

Monday, June 24th, 2013

Looking for weight loss without exercising?

Well, green coffee bean is one of the best options as it helps you burn more fat without any side effects,

Green coffee bean is not a stimulant so it doesn”t make you jittery and nervous and raise your heart rate like roasted coffee or ephedra.

In fact, the green coffee bean has actually shown in some studies to help lower blood pressure – while still boosting metabolism.

They key ingredient in the green coffee bean is a very important natural active compound called chlorogenic acid, which works by inhibiting the release of glucose in the body, while at the same time boosting the metabolism or the “burning” of fat in the liver.

Because the green coffee bean is so bitter, researchers recommend taking it in capsule form.
