Dermatology Q&A: How to remove acne marks?

You could get a few peels done with a dermatologist. After properly studying the skin type and its sensitivity, the doctor decides on the type of peeling agent and its concentration. The peel is repeated every fortnight for 5-6 sessions. The different type of peels used are : alpha hydroxy peel such as glycolic acid- derived from sugarcane; lactic acid derived from milk ; kojic acid derived from a Japanese mushroom; mandelic acid derived from apples ; salicylic acid , a beta hydroxyl acid derived from willow birch.

2. I am facing a lot of problem with my hair fall. Please could u suggest me how to reduce this unwanted hair fall?

Your diet should be rich in proteins. Whole wheat, cereals, sprouts, egg white, lean meat, milk, soya are rich in proteins. You must include them in your diet. Take a vitamin supplement which has biotin everyday. Check your haemoglobin. If it is low, you will need an iron supplement. You must also do your thyroid tests ie T3,T4,TSH.If these levels are abnormal, consult an endocrinologist.

A hot coconut oil massage works wonders as a conditioner and provides the necessary nourishment & moisture to your scalp and hair. It is recommended to oil your hair at least 2 hours before you wash your hair (at least thrice a week) to regain the moisture

For dry hair, you could use coconut oil. A hot coconut oil massage works wonders as a conditioner and provides the necessary nourishment & moisture to your scalp and hair. It is recommended to oil your hair at least 2 hours before you wash your hair (at least thrice a week) to regain the moisture

Have a high protein diet and take biotin supplements to prevent hair fall

4. Hey, I am suffering from hair fall from last 2 years applied almond oil, coconut oil nothing is happening. Now I lost my hope. When I put my hand in my head I found around 4-5 strands and when i apply shampoo i loose around 80 strands. I don’t know what is happening i am just 17.

Low haemoglobin, stress, dieting, any illness, thyroid disorder are all causes of hair fall. Certain chemical hair treatments can also cause hair fall.
