Boils on the feet may be a fungal or bacterial infection. You may need a course about doing of both oral antifungals and antibiotics as will as regular applications of medicated creams and moisturisers. If it still persists consult your dermatologist about doing some tests.
I am 57 years old Home Maker. Suffering from Psoriasis for last 4 yrs primarily on legs. I have relocated to North India from Kolkata one month back. Suddenly this Psoraisis has spread all over the body including back, hands, belly, thigh. A light black spot also came up on the face. Consulted Doctor who have diagnosed as ‘Psoraisis Vulgaris’ and put me on Methotrexate (20 mg once a week) which will start today (05th April). I understand through different studies that it has lot of side effects. I am particularly upset on possibility of hair fall. Your suggestion please?
Methotrexate is the right medication for psoriasis. It does have side effects but taking folic acid and iron can reduce the hair fall.Monitor your Hemoglobin and liver function tests regularly and follow up vigorously with your doctor for best results in Psoriasis vulgaris with minimal side effects.
