vinod

Vinod, you have not mentioned your height. So I am not able to say if your weight is normal or or if you are actually underweight. You can try strengthening exercises specific for buttocks and legs. If you need to increase weight then you need to eat more but then medications also may need to be increased accordingly.

Im Jane from Indonesia.. May I have some information for my Father.. My Father is diabetic and he has creatinine level of 6.6. please suggest us on diet and ways to reduce creatine level..Thank you so much
Jane Permana

If the creatinine is so high there has to be an underlying reason like kidney disease especially since he is a diabetic. High creatinine is a symptom only. Do give me more information on his medical condition. height, weight, age, blood profile, doctor’s advice on diet and fluid intake. Meanwhile he can reduce meat intake.

My age is 26, height is 5’6 & weight is 86-87 KG. I am not able to loose my wight anyhow. I am working in night shifts since July 2010. Even i started going GYM & doing Cardio & Strength training for almost 2 hr’s a day X 5 days a week. Because of working schedule i am only able to eat 2 times. I have taken Fat Burner & Whey Protein supplements too under trainer. Kindly suggest me.
Vikas Malik

Vikas, exercise is only one part of losing weight. Food intake needs to be controlled too. Please let me know your eating pattern and I’ll be able to help. You are doing quite a lot of exercise. But make sure you avoid fried foods, junk foods, sweets, soft drinks, and eat a little lesser at each meal.

dear madam, I am an engineering student. Comparing to other students of my class, i am very much underweight. I exercise for around 45 min for 3 to 4 days a week. I eat home cooked food on dailybasis and junk food is on the bay. Few years back i used few tonics but nothing seems to be working.

Aditya, it is good to know you are following good eating. You need to eat caloric dense foods to increase weight. So drink at least half a litre of milk daily, eat an ounce of nuts any kind daily, 6 dates after breakfast and dinner. and have bananas, grapes, fruit juices, milk based sweets, fruit cakes are all caloric dense. If you eat non veg, then have 3 ounce of fish, meat or chicken daily. All this should help you. You may also add complan or ensure to the milk.
