Hi Ms Sharma, Lichen Planus is an Autoimmune condition. Most of the time reason is not known. But in few patients an association of past history with viral hepatitis is noted.

mam, i am maintaining my sugar level fasting—100–115 and pp—135—-145 and my quartrly, avg. sugar is 6—6.5%. i control my colestrol and take ROSULIP –5, REMIPRESS –5, NURACT–PLUS AND CALCIA SACHE, GLIMY FORTE–1 AND GLIMY FORTE–2 BUT I AM HEALTHY WITH 75 KG WT AND 5–8 FT HT.
PL TELL ME ,IF THERE IS ANY NEGATIVE EFFECT OF THESE SUGAR MEDICINES ON MY HEALTH AND AGE. I AM 56–MALE.. BEING IN PUNJAB–CHANDIGARH , PBI FOOD IS MORE FAT TIGHT BUT I TRY TO CONTROL. I ALSO TAKE WALK FOR 1–1.5 KMS AVG WITH MY PEMERIAN MILKY WHITE DOG DAILY.
HOW AND WHEN CAN I WL GET RID FROM MEDICINES. I TAKE B–COMPLEX, IRON FEEFOL CAPSULES.

Vinod, if you have been diagnosed with diabetes you need to always keep it under control with diet, exercise and medication. Your fasting and HbA1c is within limit.But PPBS should not go over 135. Do this by reducing one portion of starch intake at breakfast time. If you send me a food diary I can assess it and modify if needed. Please increase your exercise to 3 km 5 times a week. Yes, you should avoid oily foods.

1. Before 4 month I was done my operation of right side hip replacement and left side drilling
But still I have pain in thai knee of right side and more pain in right side leg and back side I don’t understand what I have to

2. My mother aged 55 is being diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis for last 5 years. Her left knee joint is in pretty bad condition where the doctor have given her medicines like HCQS, Sazo, Osteokit, Alanz and lot more. She is stable but without much improvement. After lot many X-Ray’s the doctor says she won’t recover much for the better as the joints have deteriorated bad and if things get worse have to consider knee replacement.
Currently, the doctor have prescribed an injection Acton Prolongatum daily for next 4 weeks after which every alternate days for next 4 weeks and then once a week for the next 4 weeks with a checkup after 1 month. He has also prescribed oral tablets such as Lasilactone, Oncotrex. Also Folvite as she is suffering with lowActon Prolongatu hemoglobin count.
Request you to suggest with the treatment and if m injection is fine for her without much side effects?

she is on the right track. acton p is a steroid and is given by doctors in rhumatoid arthritis if everything else fails. it has its own side effects.

My self tasheen khan. i am just 22 years and very concious about my health and figure. and my main problem is that i went gym early morning around 6 o clock or 6.30 am and last 15 day i am doing surya namaskar for loosing weight. now my weight is around 55 and i am below 5 inch so i want to loos my 5 kg weight. but i am hopeless about my weight because i am not success in it so please tell me the right way to loose my 5 kg weight and i want to let you know that i am follow all rules about dieting and doing strictly diet. send me also diet plan.

I TAKE REGULAR MEDICINES LOKE GLIMY FORTE 2 AND GLIMY FORTE–I000MG, ECOSPRIN 75, REMIPRESS –5, CAPSULE–NURACT PLUS, ROSULIP F–5 AND CALICIUM CALCIA SACHE ONCE IN 15 DAYS. BUT I TAKE DIABETIC MEDICINE DAILY. MY LEGS AND MY BUTTOCKS BACK HAS SHRUNK ALOT. IS THER ANY NEGATIVE EFFECT OF THESE MEDICINES. MY ALL TESTS OF SUGAR, COLESTROL, URIC ACID LIPID, LFT ,RFT ECG ARE IN LIMITS. I WANT TO ADD ON SOME FAT ON MY BUTTOCKS AND LEGS. PL ADVISE BEC– IAM GETTING THINNER AND MY PANTS ARE LOOSE. Vinod, you have not mentioned your height.So I am not able to say if your weight is normal or or if you are actually underweight. You can try strengthening exercises specific for buttocks and legs. If you need to increase weight then you need to eat more but then medications also may need to be increased accordingly.

1. Hello Mam, I am Harish Shahi, My age is 25 and my height is 5 feet 9 inch and my weight si 80 KG. Mam I got heart attack two years back and I am taking medicines also. My doctor is saying to reduce weight. I am gaining weight progressively however I have reduced my diet 3-4 months back. Presently I take 250 GM milk with an apple in the breakfast some time poha I take.Then in the lunch I take 2-3 chapati with green vegetable and in the night I take 2-3 chapati.
I don’t use gee and any other oily things.
Mam Please suggest how to reduce weight.

Dear Doctor Sreedhar Archik,  was wandering if you can let me know what it means in my MRI scan that I had done whilst at hospital.

the following from discharge letter reads “

There is a disc degeneration at L5/S1 level with peripheral T2 weighed high-signal intensity zone. Thee is a moderate, central disc protrusion at L5/S1 , level seen effacing the thecal sac. There is no nerve root encroachment. The facet joints are unremarkable.?

Dear Sir.Trust you are keeping well. I am from South Africa. I am a female of 50 years old. My recent blood test – all tests are normal. I underwent a spinal fusion in 2005. Permanent damage to S1 nerve. Since then I am experiencing numbness to my right foot. The pain is continuous however peaking at night. I was taking tramacat pain killers for more than 2 years and now feel it does not help.

Please assist.

You can consult a local doctor and take other types of pain killers. Physiotherapy can help you.Try plain paracetamol tablets.

1. From last several months I am getting severe pains in left leg heel. On examing by famous “orthopadics Dr. He suggested to use MCR chappal. Even after use of chappal the heel gets continues pains. Even X’ray shows no infection. could I suggest what are the better treatment. I am 64 years old. But Dr said Aging is not problem

From your history i think you should be having Plantar Facitis. You can keep your feet in hot water every night. you should use MCR / MCP slippers inside and outside the house.You can try ultrasound treatment for your heel with a physiotherapist.

You could use any natural mosituriser with coconut milk and mint. Coconut milk locks moisture in the deeper layers of the skin and keeps the skin hydrated for long hours. Mint keeps the skin cool.

2. Hello, My skin is very sensitive there was some problem with my skin as my nose has become reddish. Skin specialist told that its rosacea she has given me some ointments & oral medicine. But now the redness is gone but not completely like if I go out then I will have the same problem. I am not applying any cream to my face only using sunscreen lotion which is suggested by doctor.
